About The Artist

About the company
Lisa started the company while she was in college in 1983 and is now celebrating 28th year in business. There have been a few product changes over the years but all the products that are designed after Lisa's art. Besides her original art the first products were tee shirt and sweatshirt designs. In 1990 Lisa created animal mailboxes that were a large part of her business. They were even featured in the Whitney museum of American art in New York. A feature article in the New York Times later followed.
Her cows were the theme of the 1987 “Puyallup Fair” and used for the advertisement and souvenirs.
She has done the themes for the Evergreen State Fair from 1999 to 2002 and did there souvenirs.
Many of the smaller and local fairs continue to have her design their themes logo design.
The Everett Children’s Museum had a room which features her fair art on all four walls.
She wholesales her cards, shirts and other gift items to stores all over the country.
The card line started in 1986 and has continued to grow. Many of the first designs are still requested. There are now over 200 different cards to choose from.
New products and new items are continually added and taken away as the markets changed.
The thing that is great about Lisa's art is that it is able to be put on so many different products and the images work. Children's books and the illustration market are areas Lisa would like to pursue more.
New ideas, products, and licenses are very much welcomed.

About Lisa

Lisa has been drawing from a very young age. Her Mother, a former University of Washington art student use to give her paint by number sets and other drawing tools to play with and inspired her to draw sketch and paint. Her style and technique is her own and developed it with using different styles of painting watercolors.
Growing up on a 360 acre Dairy farm in the foothills of Mount Rainier gave her inspiration and a love of animals. Many of the animals in her paintings were of ones that she actually had growing up.  The farm is a true family farm. Lisa is the second oldest with 5 sisters and one brother whom all helped on the farm.
She attended the State and County fairs with her animals showing them in 4-H and FFA.
Now she gets to show her animals still at fairs and festivals but they are now on paper.
Lisa went to WSU for a food science degree a business minor and an art minor. College is where Lisa discovered her characters and painted them for fun and for her friends.
During her summers in college she showed her work at a number of arts and crafts festivals.  After working a year as a food scientist she finally figured out the business and made her art full time career.  Lisa continues doing local arts and crafts fairs and creating and coming up with new products and characters to add to her line.
Her three children help her out when they can with new ideas and suggestions.
We hope you enjoy her artwork and welcome any suggestions or new ideas.
Thanks for your support.
